The 39 Clues Book 1  The Maze of Bones

Students have been reading the new series, The 39 Clues, and are on the hunt to solve the mystery.  Amy and Dan Cahill are on a mission from their grandmother to be the first to find all 39 clues.  They are competing against other members of their very large and somewhat famous family.  They are learning all about their ancestors and family branches.  One assignment that the students completed was to create their own family coat of arms.  We learned about the different symbols placed on the arms and their meanings.  Students then researched their own and either duplicated parts of them or created their own using the information they found.  Below are the pictures of their fantastic work!
